Dinosh Dominic | An artist of innate emotions

We usually go through several artist pages in social medias.

Now time to show you a picture that I felt to the core.

How far you can go about this one? Just a sketch?

No way! Beyond the imaginations of an artist it goes deep to the emotions of an observer.
There's a lot
This is all about him, The Artist; Dinosh Dominic.

In the framework of Emotions, it refers to the ways, in which he spreads love, laugh and lot more, often like wildfire, and sometimes like an arrow through the heart.

Why am i using the word 'emotions' again and again? As far as I know, he doesn't have a random selection for his sketches. He finds his emotions and attachments and likes to be the perfect model to put down to the paper.

His friends, his love, his favorites everything which is close to his heart has found space in his canvas.

"A work of art is a world in itself, reflecting senses and emotions of the artist's world" - Hans Hoffman

This is his world, this is it , everything of him.

Dinosh is a passionately curious, self-taught artist based in kottayam. He lives there in the 'city of alphabets' (Akshara nagari) with his parents and his puppies, Tia and Thaksha...Trust me he is mad about his dogs ;)
He is a graduate in Animation.

I don't know much about his friends but i can say that they round him up with some spirit and you can see a few of them in "The people that keep me going", in his page

You can also find a bunch his favorite characters and some truly amazing sketches that you would definitely love.

Apart from his artistic talents, he truly is an amazing laughter guy. Spreads positive vibrations around and I guess that's what it is reflected through his works.

Find his arts at: Dinosh SketchBook

With loads of love and Wishes

I ~ Inspire | How would you like to be remembered?

This is a bit late I know.. busy days... i should've found time but was too hard. :(
So here's it.

'I'

Inspire

About a hundred years ago, a man looked at the morning newspaper and to his surprise and horror, read his name in the obituary column. The news papers had reported the death of the wrong person by mistake. His first response was shock. Am I here or there? When he regained his composure, his second thought was to find out what people had said about him. The obituary read, "Dynamite King Dies." And also "He was the merchant of death." This man was the inventor of dynamite and when he read the words "merchant of death," he asked himself a question, "Is this how I am going to be remembered?" He got in touch with his feelings and decided that this was not the way he wanted to be remembered. From that day on, he started working toward peace. His name was Alfred Nobel and he is remembered today by the great Nobel Prize

.

Just as Alfred Nobel got in touch with his feelings and redefined his values, we should step back and do the same.

What is your legacy?

How would you like to be remembered?

Will you be spoken well of?

Will you be remembered with love and respect?

Will you be missed?

H ~ Hope | that keep us alive

"I hope
you hope
they all hope"

Old, she was sitting in a chair faced to an open window.

They say “she’s waiting for someone” and I say she’s watching someone who’s far away walking through the way, waving hands to her and screaming “Mom, I’m home”.

She believes every person who passed by the way now & then is her son; that’s why she’s alive.

Those words must’ve killed her at times when they say “He won’t come. He died for our nation”.

After all she’s a mother “No he’ll come…He’s just running late”.
She closed her eyes; like forever.

Let’s believe “Better late than Never”.

After all, Hope is something that keeps us alive.

G~ Gracious | Thank You

We forget to be grateful for every little thing and worry about those slipped away, just because they weren't meant for us.

We have so much, even more than those we lost to say 'Thank you' everyday. We just have to see them. But we won't.

So let's say Thanks to everything, everyone...

Say Thanks to god for all the happy days
Say Thanks to your friends for all those memorable moments
Say Thanks to your Parents for all they have done for you to keep your smile alive
Say Thanks to your Wife, Husband, Love for being the greatest support they give to your soul
Say Thanks to you siblings, even they fight they care the most
Say Thanks to everything you find right, everyone you find true to your heart.

But, never forget to Say Thanks to yourself for being the most powerful weapon to live your life as you wish.

My gratitude is to everyone who simply smile at me, those who helped me find my way, those who simply fought and gave me strength someway to fight back... so and so .. I thank everyone, everything I have until my last breath.... :)

F~ Female Feoticide | Time to Promise her 'Freedom'

On this independence day, It's time to promise her the freedom she deserves.

Its time to take her from the cage and free her to fly the highs.

We must celebrate this independence day assuring every freedom to a sister, a mother, a daughter, a wife deserves.

Imagine a world without them.

So just Act.

Sharing again; two poems I wrote earlier on 'gender discrimination'.

 Happy Independence Day :)

Brother ! Spare Me

Just a letter,
made differences.
He to She,
made gender differences.

Ofcourse, there should be
I agreed.
But why we treat
different
When their bloods are same
Until its some A or A+ve

Oh Brother! Spare me
We born together
as same as alike
But I'm She & you are He
makes all differences

Please spare me
I've rights like you do
But its denied
Cause I learned to tolerate
people like you.

<Uma>

N.B : I scribbled these words. It doesn't rhyme or have a structure of a poem. Still I'm tagging it as poetry. Wanted to share with you as like it was in the paper.

E~ Entertainment | Lets go Movie, Park and Party to Make a difference

I Love to spread ideas, especially Ideas that are helpful not for those who have, but for those who have not.

I was in search of one and found an interesting idea for those who wonder about Entertainment.

Those who aren’t meant to enjoy some moments like we do.

Here I go,

Entertainment, let’s go Movie, Park and Party with those little birds who are caged in, just because they have no one to hold their hands and take them to theaters, parks, and no one have ever talked to them like “ Hey you passed…lets go Party!”

We spend thousands in a year, or may be in a month for our leisure. Let’s save 2 Rs per day and take an orphan child to a movie in a month.

I assure you, there’s no wonder than those smile and the delighted eyes. And there is no eye which won’t tear down when they hug you for giving them an opportunity and for considering them in all means.

I hope you save and be a reason for their smile.

Make a difference.

D~ Dogs | Story of Mirrors and Reflections

"There is a story they tell of two dogs. Both dogs, at separate times, walk into the same room. One dog comes out wagging his tail while the other comes out growling.

A woman watching this goes into the room to see what could possibly make one dog so happy and the other dog so mad. To her surprise she finds a room full of mirrors.

The happy dog found a thousand happy dogs looking back at him. The angry dog saw only angry growling dogs looking back at him."

Meaning: What you see in the world around you is a reflection of who you are.
So its about once perspective about how to judge the world. I found it very weird when someone finds the odds of other at first meet, when they can very much smile on each other for what they have.

"Always show the world your happiness and not your pain
because people gather in sunshine and hide from the rain"

B ~ Buddhist Story | On man & his Instincts

So Day 2, Letter 'B'

Today I would like to tell you a story. A story that I read somewhere and couldn't forget at all.

The Old Man and the Scorpion

One morning, after he had finished his meditation, the old man opened his eyes and saw a scorpion floating helplessly in the water. As the scorpion was washed closer to the tree, the old man quickly stretched himself out on one of the long roots that branched out into the river and reached out to rescue the drowning creature.

As soon as he touched it, the scorpion stung him. Instinctively the man withdrew his hand. A minute later, after he had regained his balance, he stretched himself out again on the roots to save the scorpion. This time the scorpion stung him so badly with its poisonous tail that his hand became swollen and bloody and his face contorted with pain.

At that moment, a passerby saw the old man stretched out on the roots struggling with the scorpion and shouted: "Hey, stupid old man, what's wrong with you? Only a fool would risk his life for the sake of an ugly, evil creature. Don't you know you could kill yourself trying to save that ungrateful scorpion?"The old man turned his head. Looking into the stranger's eyes he said calmly, "My friend, just because it is the scorpion's nature to sting, that does not change my nature to save."

A ~ "Ant"

Moral from a tiny creature

I’ve always wondered observing group of ants marching like a brigade.

We keep a stick between those moving lines; they avoid the obstacle and keep moving like the way they started.  How planned is that…!

“Whatever the obstacle is, they won’t quit until they reach the goal”

Let’s observe another group.

One finds a huge for him, sugar crystal and he tries to hold that up; but fails. Tries again; yes now it’s up but can’t move other step. So dropped it again…

Now he finds his friends around, and seeks for help.

Wow. They agreed and now see “hEEyyyaaa”

The crystal is moving…yes they are taking it to their home sweet home.

“There is the strength we say of working in group with trust is what decides the success”

Keep Calm & Write

Some tips I found helpful to keep calm before you write and some prompts too.

•    Take a minute walk
I found this easier than meditating. Walking in my garden; breathing the fragrance of flower.
Get up and Get out. Go, walk and breathe some air. Look at the flowers and write what they may have been talking to each other.

•    Dance around the House
Who doesn’t love music? Play them aloud, Step up and enjoy each moment. Love yourself and write about you protagonist who dance with her invisible friend.
•    Walk in the rain
Some feel rain, others just get wet.
Write about a rainy day when your characters fall in love and walk along the river side holding their hands.
•    Be quite
Sometimes that’s the most suitable mode to switch off you vocal for an hour and sit alone somewhere you love.
Maybe your character hides some secrets in her and she only reminds herself about that when she quits speaking and sitting alone.

•    Make a collage
Search around for pictures from magazines and your albums. Make collage and gift it to your mom and dad. They would definitely love them, so you characters dear ones too.  Write about your character that makes collage every year for her parents who are far away or dead.

•    Smile to the Unexpected
There’s nothing better than a smile from your heart to keep the beat a bit calm.
Your protagonist may have problems but you must have dreamt her smiling to the unexpected and you know the one who have crush on her would fall in love with her… may be all over again.

•    Say YES to whatever challenges you.
Being a writer and staying concentrated on that every day, it is a challenge. If you are reading this ofcourse you’re a writer or you are interested in writing. So don’t think, just go and write.

Do what you love and do it often.

With love

Love Like Sea & Shore

Leaving foot prints on the sand & immensely walking without caring, without knowing the running time.

I would love like a sea & its shore. The immortal bond between, drags them to stick together every other second of their breath. This is how I want my Love to be, Immortal & together forever.

I'm not coward. But I do runaway from all the stuffs of this busy life, just to keep my soul alive...
